A final year university student Michael Waters, at RMIT University, is studying the impacts of renewable energy projects on local Australian communities. As part of his research he is sending questionnaires to Macarthur residents in order to gauge attitudes to renewable energy, as well as attitudes towards the Macarthur Wind Farm. To date he has sent surveys via post to Macarthur residents, but he has also made the survey available via the internet. Those who choose to participate in this voluntary survey will remain confidential and individual responses will not be made available to any person, company or government body other than Michael Waters direct university supervisor. Responses will not be sold and are collected solely for academic purposes. At the completion of the project contact details will be discarded. Results of this research project will be compiled and all information relating to individual participants will be removed.

Results may be published in an academic journal, made available to government bodies in the form of policy advice or made available to prospective energy project planners. In the occurrence of these actions, no mention to participant identities will be made. If you wish to participate in the survey please visit : https://docs.google.com/a/student.rmit.edu.au/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dE5RNVJMVjZUY0ctc2ozUm5Qcm9oemc6MQ
